Gameplay Setting

  • 12 Man Rosters and $90K Scholarship Cap is only achieved through the unlimited version of the game which is 0.99 cents, ITS NOT REQUIRED but it will help. IF YOU CHOOSE TO BUY THE UNLIMITED VERSION, YOU MUST PURCHASE IT ON A NEW SAVE NOT YOUR LEAGUE SAVE!!!
  • INDEPENDENT LEAGUE TEAMS ARE NOT TO BE USED IN GAME AS THEY DO NOT CONTAIN A CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME RESULTING IN A LOWER NUMBER OF GAMES.
  • MINOR SOUTHWEST AND MINOR EASTERN TEAMS ARE NOT TO BE USED AS THEY ARE UNABLE TO PLAY IN A NATIONAL TOURNAMENT RESULTING IN LOWER NUMBER OF GAMES

    • This is achieved via 1 time ONLY upgrade of the scholarship fund. Free (Base) version of the game will CAP at $80k
  • 12 Game Regular Season
  • 4 Game Playoffs
  • Games 1-6 Due First Saturday
    • +10 Point Bonus to lowest game of segment is awarded if submission is on time.
  • Games 7-12 Due Second Saturday
    • +10 Point Bonus to lowest game of segment is awarded if submission is on time.
  • Games 13-16 Due Wednesday
    • There is no point bonus for playoffs.
  • Tournament Bracket and Results release Saturday
  • 12 Team Playoffs (Voted By CFL Playoff Committee)
  • 6 Bowl Games that are not National Championship Playoffs to be voted on by the AP Poll Committee.
  • Daily Deadline For Score Submission is 11:59 pm EST
  • Kick Returns Are Optional
  • The League at any point may expand on both additional playoffs and bowl games. This may be announced at the beginning of the league year.
  • You Can Only Play As One Team and One Team Only!

Terms & General Rules

  • After each segment you must screenshot the season review screen found by tapping the standing screen then schedule and then review.
  • Failure to submit scores with a restart screen and by the deadline will result in a forfeit, even if you played your game before the deadline
  • Forfeit Rule – If a team forfeits their game in a given week, the PD won or loss is 0.
  • Restart Rule – There are no Restarts, punishment for restarting is -10 to the highest total in submitted segment. 
  • Simulation Rule – Simulating games is not allowed. It will be an automatic forfeit for every game simulated.
  • If both teams in a matchup do not play in the same week or break a rule, both teams will forfeit and recieve 0.
  • You cannot purchase coaching credit. If you are caught purchasing credits, you may be removed from the league
  • Any game that breaks the rules will result in a forfeit, Multiple offenses may get you removed from the league
  • If an error occurs and your team gets deleted, please contact the Commissoner for information on what to do
  • The RBM CFL Committee will be responsible for ranking teams based on their overall record, conference record, PD, ranked H2H matchups and total season points.
  • Mistakes will be made; please be understanding. We will resolve any issues as fast as possible. If you find a mistake contact either the deputy commish or the commissioner.

First Season Startup

  • Teams will start on Year 2, You can use your selected team, however, if you switch to your actual team then you start over altogether
  • If you use the team you start with in game, your results will be tracked in the league as the team you chose when you joined the league, example being if in game you are Hawaii but in the league you chose to be UCLA, your results from in game will put down as UCLA

End Of Regular Season

  • Once the week 12 standings and results have been released, non-playoff teams will be allowed to finish out their season
  • All rules from the RBM CFL still apply

Playoff Rules

  • Playoffs will start after 12 regular season games.
  • All regular season rules apply for the playoffs ( See league rules for questions).
  • Have your phone charged at least 20% before starting the game and be in an area with good phone signal, put your phone on do not disturb and eliminate all necessary distractions.
  • There are no restarts in the playoffs
  • Any team that restarts gets -10 PD for that playoff game
  • If the game ends in a tie, we will use the regular season H2H matchup(s) as the deciding factor, followed up by overall season PD, then overall Points scored.
  • RB College which is utilized for this league contains a dynamic in which selection for bowl games, ranking system, and final tournament. RBM CFL has no control over this system. Depending on team selection in game, this may result in a limited number of games for playoffs. For example, game 14 or 15 may not exist due to the in game selection process and will result in a “0” score in league play.
  • Current playoff format is 12 teams that are voted on by the AP Poll Committee
  • Each Conference Champion (4 in total) will claim the top 4 spots in the playoffs. AP Poll Committee shall still vote on ranking of these 4 spots.
